Scammed! December 5, 2007

Remember that poem I told you about being published a while ago? Well guess what? It was all a scam! I guess I should have figured it out when they wanted ME to pay for them to publish it, but me in my foolish innocence, didn’t even consider it! I figured it out when just two days ago, I put in “Immortal Verses book” into google, and did I find any ads for buying the book (which according to them was due for pulishing November 2007)? No! All I found was a bunch of blog entries saying how the author got scammed by Poetry.com! I can’t believe I fell for such a stupid scam! Anybody who reads this should stay away from poetry.com. If you entered a poetry contest by them, and got a letter saying you are a semi-finalist, don’t bother buying the book! You won’t get a book, because you aren’t really published! Anybody who already got a letter but dosen’t know it’s a scam, DON’T BUY ANYTHING!!!
I am so sorry Christian. There are legitimate publishers that do publish student work. I will find some of them and send you the information. You can write very well and you should be published.
